ISPTS CONFERENCES
The International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances and Health (ISPTS) is the premier event for scientists and experts to share and discuss the most recent research and innovation advances in the detection and monitoring of persistent and emerging contaminants, the assessment of their impacts on humans and the environment, as well as new approaches for mitigating their use and for the restoration of impacted ecosystems and environments. Previous ISPTS conferences, held since 2004, have been hosted and organized by prominent academic institutions around the world, the last editions taking place in Chania, Crete, Greece (ISPTS-2024) and Seoul, Korea (ISPTS-2025).
The 20th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances and Health (ISPTS-2026) will be held in Bologna, Italy, and is organized by the Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna, The Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of CAS, and Nanjing University.
